• Young Professionals Launch Party (Aug 05, 2010)
  

  United Way of Delaware County is holding an inaugural event for the newly formed Young Professionals Network (YPN) on Thursday, Aug. 5 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Cantina Laredo on Lyra Drive in the Polaris area.

  YPN is for professionals age 21 to 40 who share a common interest in giving back to their community. The group is in its infancy, making now the ideal time to join.
  
  "More and more professionals come into Delaware County every day, to work and/or live here," explains the group's leader Susie Bibler. "At United Way, we believe there are many ways for young professionals to connect and make meaningful contributions to their community - all while having fun and making new friends."

• Community Care Day (Sep 14, 2010)
  

  Community Care Day is an annual volunteer event held at area non-profit agencies and community improvement projects.  United Way of Delaware County’s partners and their employees contribute thousands of labor hours to tackle various projects throughout the community.  

  We are proud to partner with Connections, the Delaware County Ohio Volunteer Center, for access to individual or group volunteering opportunities. Please contact them about volunteering for Community Care Day.

• Campaign Goal Reached - Delaware County is a Caring Community! (May 18, 2010)
  

  Following a tough fundraising season more than one year ago, United Way is pleased to share it met the campaign goal, with more than $3.1 million in pledges.

• Youth Representation on Impact Teams (Mar 11, 2010)
  

  What started as a simple question has turned into a pilot program, aimed at getting youth more involved in the allocations decision-making process.

• Applications Available Online (Jan 08, 2010)
  

  Local non-profit organizations are invited to apply for FY11 funding for programs that address Delaware County's most pressing human service needs. Deadline to apply is Feb. 8, notification of funding decisions will be made by May 1, with allocations beginning July 1.
