United Way seeking program applicants (Jan 14, 2009)

United Way of Delaware County is inviting local non-profit organizations to apply for funding to support programs that address the county's most pressing human service needs.

Interested, eligible organizations are encouraged to apply for funding for fiscal year 2010.  The deadline to apply is noon Feb. 9; applications are available by calling United Way of Delaware County at 740-369-9618.

United Way's "Community Impact" funding model invites proposals for continuing or new programs from 501(c)(3) agencies, school district or units of local governoment with services or programs reaching Delaware County.  First-time applicants must attend the Jan. 20 mandatory training session from 9-11 a.m. at the Hayes Services Building, 140 N. Sandusky St., Room G-22.
