Levels of Leadership Giving
Leadership Givers are individuals and couples who contribute $1,000 or more to our community. They are recognized as generous contributors in Delaware County Ohio whose philanthropy truly exemplifies leadership and commitment in our community.

Tocqueville Society
When you give an annual gift of $10,000 or more, you join a select group, the Tocqueville Society, which is changing the lives of individuals in need throughout our community.

In addition to knowing they are making a thoughtful and compassionate gift, Tocqueville members also have the opportunity to connect and network with other successful people who share similar values and care about making a difference in our community.

Levels of Giving
Level 1 – gift of $1,000 - $2,499
Level 2 – gift of $2,500 - $4,999
Level 3 – gift of $5,000 - $9,999
Tocqueville Society – $10,000+*

A Step Up To Greatness
John H. McConnell gave hundreds of thousands to United Way of Delaware County in his life, and his contributions will continue after his death through his generous gift of $100,000 before he died April 25, 2008 at age 84.

John H. McConnell's donation will fund the new "Step Up" program, which will provide matching money when donors give in stages and will recognize them for a higher level of giving. For example, a donor who gives $5,000 but plans to give more will immediately be inducted into the Tocqueville Society.

The money will be put to work in Delaware County, Ohio, helping to pay for programs that focus on health and education, as well as basic needs.
